Some folks keep horses, others keep buffalo!

The leader of this pack determined by the quick observation I had was the one who was caught rolling around in images 8-9-10. What that one said went!

This small group of 6 or so did not walk to their fence but ran, we have had cattle do this but buffalo? We assumed strangers get out of their vehicles and may feed this small group? Which is not something you should do. If whatever is not yours, do not feed them without the owners permission. Otherwise this behavior is just irresponsible. Teaching children this irresponsible behavior well…… some parents do and why some children get hurt.

Domestication of such animals has been a long time thing since after all there are no more, “wild”, buffalo in the United States. The closest thing to wild the buffalo now have are big parks where they do get to wonder where they like within the boundaries of said park. Otherwise here in Oregon and Washington you can find them on private property, (as these were found), you may also see them in zoo’s, rodeo’s, the drive around park/zoo’s, road side attractions that kind of thing.

We did not stick around long, a couple minutes. If you are on the back roads of Oregon keep a eye out, you too may see buffalo!
